Chances are you're not going to like what's in here. Chances are equally good that I won't give a shit. The contents of this journal are an online record of the workings of a perverse/perverted mind and the trouble its current prison gets into — not for the benefit of anyone else.
With a rare few exceptions this journal is also "friends"-only. If you want on there are a few "ground rules" you should know up front.
1. Introduce yourself, dammit.
How the hell'd you wind up here, anyway? What makes you think anything here is worth reading? Inquiring minds want to know.
Also I probably won't add you back unless you do so or we know each other personally.
2. Don't be an asshat.
Be civil with me and I'll do my damnedest to do the same for you, even if we disagree. If I'm flat-out factually wrong about something, correct me and provide proof; I'm not one of those assholes who won't ever admit to being wrong. This also applies to other commentors.
2a. Don't make stupid assumptions.
Oh noes a list of interests offends your poor delicate sensibilities. Let's jump to conclusions! That shit's gotten real old, real fast. Get the facts before you get your panties in a twist.
3. Internet = serious business.
Don't take every little thing personally — chances are it has fuck-all to do with you anyway. Just bear in mind that I'm a misomaniac with a penchant for incessant hyperbole.
4. Walking stereotypes need not apply.
Only interested in actual persons, not cardboard cutouts who allow one opinion, preference, or habit define who they are.
5. If you're a bigot you could at least be honest about it.
Anyone who claims to not have any prejudices is lying through their teeth. If you dislike or hate some group or another guess what? I don't really care. It's your opinion/taste/feelings and I'm not gonna put you down for it. But don't make shit up, spout fallacies, or try to tell me you're not prejudiced and/or chauvanistic to try to hide it. Also, expect some ribbing if our opinions are at loggerheads. ;3
